At the beginning of 2010, Cemeti Art House, as well as two other organizations; Sanggar Bambu and Lembaga Budaya Kerakyatan Taring Padi has received 'Respect Award' from Biennale Jogja X Organizing Committee.  
This is the second official award that has been received by Cemeti, given by local organization, which considered Cemeti to be the leading independent institution that has brought Indonesian contemporary art to come into view, nationally as well as internationally.
In 2006, Cemeti (the couple Nindityo Adipurnomo/ Mella Jaarsma) received the 'John D. Rockefeller 3rd Award' in New York – United States of America.
